The Important Pool Rules You Should Know & Follow
04.22.2021 |
Pool season is finally here, and we know are you excited to spend your summer at the largest swimming pool in Little Rock. But before you dip a toe in the water, it’s important to review all our community’s pool rules.
From what to wear to what to bring, now is the time to make sure you’re up to speed!
Bring Your Pool Pass
Have you picked up your pool pass yet? It’s your golden ticket to get into our private pool!
Every summer, new pool passes become available exclusively to leaseholders in the form of a wristband. You need to bring this wristband with you every time you visit the pool, as our pool concierge will be checking for them and ask you to leave if you do not have one.
Remember you are permitted a maximum of two guests per wristband, and you must stay with your guests during the duration of their visit.
Keep Kegs at Home
We love hosting parties every summer at the pool. But outside of our management-sponsored events, no parties are permitted!
This means no kegs, cakes, decorations, games, etc. can be brought to the pool. Any violation of this pool rule will result in a $300 fee.
Rock the Right Swimwear
We understand different styles may go in and out of fashion, but appropriate swimwear is always required here at Bowman Pointe. We want everyone to feel comfortable coming to the pool!
Thongs, “cheeky” bikinis, see-through swimsuits, etc. are all prohibited here, so please plan your outfits accordingly.
It’s also important to remember to remove your street clothing before you go swimming. Only swimsuits can be worn in the water!
Then, if you need to visit the clubhouse after leaving the pool area, make sure you dry off, cover up, and put on some shoes. Wrapping yourself in a towel or going inside barefoot is not allowed.
Imbibe Outside the Pool
Sipping cocktails poolside is total #lifegoals, so we know you want to enjoy some drinks when you hang out at our palatial pool. We are even happy to serve them up every week for you at Turn Up Tuesday!
But please remember: no food or drinks, including alcoholic beverages, are allowed in the pool under any circumstances. If you want to drink a beverage, you must be out of the pool and sitting at any of the lounge chairs or tables provided.
Please do not sit your drink on the edge of the pool, either. We do not want drinks spilling into the pool and disrupting the water chemistry.
Contain Your Drinks Correctly
Speaking of drinks, it’s also important to carry your beverages in the correct containers.
Plastic cups, aluminum cans, silicone glasses, and insulated tumblers are totally fine to bring to the pool. But glass and Styrofoam are strictly forbidden!
Leave Pets at Day Care
At Bowman Pointe, you know we love pets! Taking yours to the Bark Park is perfectly fine, but the pool is no place to bring a pet.
If you need a place to leave your furry friend for the day and don’t want to keep them cooped up in your apartment, take them to doggy day care!
We highly recommend Hounds Lounge, which is just a few minutes down the road from our community.
Float on Your Own
Modest Mouse famously sang the lyrics “And we’ll all float on, okay.” We absolutely agree with them, as long as you float on your own back and not on something that will take up space in the swimming pool.
Rafts, donuts, noodles, balls, and other items capable of floating in the pool are not allowed. We want everyone to enjoy the pool and not get overcrowded by something floating in their face!
Stop Smoking
Bowman Pointe is a proud, smoke-free apartment community. Because the pool is a community amenity at the epicenter of our property, it must remain smoke-free as well.
For this reason, smoking and vaping of any kind in the pool area is not acceptable at any time.
Stay Cool & Chill Out
Our goal for the pool is to maintain a fun, relaxing environment that everyone can enjoy all summer long. So, please be cool, chill out, and keep the peace!
Running, pushing, fighting, shouting, cursing, or horseplay in any form will not allowed.
If you or your guests are found violating or ignoring these rules, our team reserves the right to revoke your pool privileges at any time.
For the full list of pool rules, please review the Resident Handbook available in your resident portal or in our resident app.
