We can probably guess what you’re doing right now. You’re on your phone, your iPad, or your laptop trying to figure out where you’re going to live, how much it’s going to cost, when you can move in, etc. Whether you’re downsizing, upgrading, or just ready to live somewhere new, the apartment search process can be a tangled one. Well, we’re here to help!
At Bowman Pointe, you can explore several floor plans, and all have been designed with varying needs in mind. We have beautiful studio apartments, one-bedroom apartments, and two-bedroom apartments in our community. Which apartment size is right for you? Let’s break down your options.
Our Jade floor plan is 385 square feet with an open bedroom/living room and one bathroom. It also has a walk-in closet and a separate pantry. Like all our luxury apartments, the modern details and upscale finishes are what make these units unique. Every kitchen has granite countertops, designer backsplashes, custom dark wood cabinetry, and space for countertop seating. Every bathroom also has granite countertops, plus glass showers with rainfall showerheads and tile floors. Every main living space has hardwood flooring. Finally, every living room and bedroom has recessed multimedia wall plates.
The main living space has enough room for a queen size bed, a small loveseat or a couple of chairs, a small coffee table, and a small entertainment center or desk. You can really make the space your oasis.
If you live alone and don’t often entertain company, a studio apartment would be perfect for you. But if you need more space than what we have described, a one-bedroom apartment size would be more appropriate.
We have two one-bedroom apartment sizes you can choose from at Bowman Pointe: the Sapphire and the Ruby.
At 580 square feet, the Sapphire one-bedroom floor plan is very similar to the Jade studio, but it does have a separate carpeted bedroom. The bathroom and walk-in closet are larger. The kitchen’s countertop is slighter longer, leaving room for two bar stools.
The living room has space for a small couch, small tables, and an entertainment center. You could fit a queen-sized bed in the bedroom. Fair housing guidelines state that up to two people can occupy a one-bedroom apartment. So, you could be living alone or with one other occupant relatively comfortably with the feng shui of a Sapphire.
When you compare this floor plan to the other one-bedroom option, this one is missing several key features: a wine nook, a laundry room, and a patio or balcony. If these things are important to you, you need to look at the Ruby!
The Ruby floor plan is 775 square feet, with an open floor plan kitchen and living room. The living room has a wine nook, complete with wine rack, bar, and cabinets. Perfect for entertaining! The kitchen has a large island with space for more seating than the Sapphire. It also has a separate laundry room and pantry closet. The walk-in closet that you see off the bedroom in the Jade and Sapphire is off the bathroom in the Ruby.
With the extra square footage in this one-bedroom apartment size, you get an awesome patio or balcony with outdoor storage, larger bedroom, larger bathroom, and room in the main living space for a dining table or desk in addition to your living room furniture. You could even get a king-sized bed for your bedroom.
Because the living room is more open, you can really configure the space to fit your needs. We have seen residents transform it into everything from a photography studio to a study space! Where the Sapphire or Jade only has room for a small couch and entertainment center, you could fit an L-spaced couch and larger television and entertainment center in the Ruby, if you like. Then, there are all kinds of walls to hang art, photos, shelves, and other decorative pieces that express your style.
Like the one-bedroom options, we have two two-bedroom apartment sizes at Bowman Pointe: the Diamond and the Citrine.
The two-bedroom, two-bathroom Diamond floor plan is 1,080 square feet. It is almost identical to the Ruby floor plan, except there is a second bathroom, bedroom, and closet on the opposite side of the living room from the first bedroom. The second bedroom, because the bathroom is private, functions more like a master suite. With this layout, two roommates could fit comfortably, but up to four people can occupy the unit.
Aside from the second bedroom and bathroom, the Diamond has even more exciting amenities. The shower in the main bathroom has a tub. The master walk-in closet has a laundry bin hidden in the wall, which opens to the laundry room on the other side of the wall (which is very convenient). Plus, the patio or balcony in this floor plan is slightly longer than the Ruby. It’s the perfect place to relax with friends at the end of a long week.
With this apartment size, you have even more layout options with just 300 extra square feet. You could use the second bedroom as an office, library, studio, fitness room, guest room…it’s up to your imagination! For a virtual tour of this apartment size, check out our model apartment walkthrough.
The second two-bedroom apartment option we offer is the Citrine, which is 1,115 square feet. This floor plan is usually located in a corner unit, so the bedrooms are on opposite ends with a larger living space than a Diamond in the middle. We highly recommend getting a large rug to tie the main room together!
The open living space has room for a larger couch, larger dining table, and more wall space for wall décor. Like the Diamond, one of the walk-in closets has a built-in laundry bin that connects to the laundry room. Plus, overall, the walk-in closets in this floor plan are larger. The pantry closet in the kitchen is also longer.
Because the Citrine is our largest floor plan, we recommend that you go for it over the Diamond if you just need more storage space, more room for apartment décor, or more room for more people. Choosing this floor plan will make you feel like you live in a resort hotel suite!
Extra Apartment Features
For budgeting purposes, please know that first floor, third floor, and courtyard-facing units will have slightly higher pricing than second floor units or those facing a parking lot. What’s special about leasing at Bowman Pointe is how our utility package streamlines your monthly bills, no matter the apartment’s size. Included in your monthly payment, our utility package covers the cost of water, sewer, trash, monitored intrusion alarms, HD television, and high-speed Internet. You only pay separately for electricity through Entergy. We even have washers, dryers, gym lockers, wine lockers, and carports you can add to your rent for a small monthly fee.
