10.28.2019 | Blog

Newsflash: Fall isn’t over until Winter starts on December 21. In case you did not know, there’s more to love about Fall than Halloween!
That’s why we want to help you keep the fall fun going well past All Hallows Eve. Whether you’re into spooky stuff, outdoor adventures, or more traditional pastimes, there are so many things to see and do here in Little Rock this Fall.
Keep the Spooky Spirit Alive
Once Halloween is over, you have our permission to keep the spirit going a little while longer with one of these fun activities around Little Rock.
Haunted Tour of Little Rock
Yes, Little Rock has some haunted hot spots. Want to see them all in one night? Sign up for the Haunted Tour of Little Rock happening this Friday, November 1, if you dare!
Boo at the Zoo
Boo at the Zoo happens every year during the week of Halloween, and this year is no exception. For the last day of the event, it’s Skeletons Night.
What all does that entail? You’ll have to show up this Friday, November 1, at the Little Rock Zoo from 6:00 to 9:00 pm and find out!
Wind Down With a Wine Tasting
What pairs best with cool fall weather? A nice glass of wine.
Petit & Keet
Petit & Keet has a Fall Wine Flight this Wednesday, October 30, that sounds fantastic. For $15, you can try some fall-themed varietals that should warm you right up.
Zin Wine Bar
Can’t make this Wednesday work? Zin Wine Bar offers $15 wine flights every Wednesday!
Each week has a different theme, so you can show up any Wednesday night this Fall and be surprised.
Fill Up on Fall Craft Beer
Not a wino? No problem! The craft breweries we have here in Little Rock are amazing.
There’s always something new to try, and we’re willing to bet the flavor of fall beer is delicious.
Lost Forty Brewing
A perfect example of a festive fall brew would be Lost Forty Brewing’s Wolf Bite, a dark cider that is getting released today!
Stop by their taproom to give it a try any night this week or check it out during their all-day brunch this Sunday.
Diamond Bear Brewing
Want to drink for a good cause? In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Diamond Bear Brewing is hosting Fest for the Cure this Saturday, November 2.
In addition to craft beer, this festival will feature food trucks, games, and live music. Part of the proceeds go to Susan G. Komen!
Go on an Outdoor Adventure
Before it gets too cold, you can create your own fall fun in the great outdoors. After all, Arkansas is The Natural State.
Picnic in a Park
An outdoor picnic is the perfect way to enjoy fabulous fall weather. Bring a blanket, some hot cider, your favorite foods, and you’re all set!
You can watch the leaves change right before your eyes at Two Rivers Park, Murray Park, Burns Park, and more.
Fall Adventures at Pine Hill Ranch
Most of the fall festivals usually scheduled in Little Rock have already happened. That is, except this one!
Pine Hill Ranch is hosting a Fall Adventures Festival this Friday and Saturday that sounds like tons of fun. Play some games, roast some s’mores, and enjoy a horse-drawn hayride.
Can’t make the festival? Sign up for some horseback riding whenever you want!
Do Some Fall Food Shopping
Fall food hauls are the absolute best. Pumpkins, cranberries, mushrooms, potatoes…there are so many delicious foods in season during Fall in Arkansas.
Do some shopping and stock up!
Bernice Gardens Farmers Market
Have you ever visited the Bernice Gardens Farmers Market? It’s delightful. Also, it just so happens to be ending this weekend.
The last day you can get all your fresh, farm-grown, fall produce is this Sunday, November 3, between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm. Go go go before it’s all gone gone gone!
Trader Joe’s
If you would rather load up on pumpkin spice pastries, coffee, and more, check out the new Trader Joe’s location that just opened here in Little Rock last week.
Beware: Everyone is freaking out over this new store, so there will likely be crowds when you go. Be patient and you’ll find some fun fall treats!
Be a Fall Football Fan
Nothing says Fall like football! Plus, the only Razorback football game we’re getting in Little Rock this year happens the day after Thanksgiving, so it’s pretty much perfect.
Think you’re up for calling those Hogs? Get your tickets to Arkansas Razorbacks vs. Missouri Tigers on November 29 at 1:30 pm right here at War Memorial Stadium.
Relax on a Weekend Getaway
If you want to get out of town to enjoy the fall foliage, we don’t blame you one bit. There are some stunning spots for weekend getaways around Arkansas we would love to recommend!
1886 Crescent Hotel & Spa
America’s most haunted hotel is right here in Arkansas! Take a drive up to Eureka Springs for a spooky stay at the 1886 Crescent Hotel & Spa. You can hop on a ghost tour and get all the creepy scoop on the place!
State Park Cabins
When we think of Fall, we imagine sitting by a fire, drinking hot cocoa, and playing board games. Call it nostalgic but disconnecting from the world sounds nice right about now, don’t you think?
That’s why we recommend getting a weekend away from town before the holidays start. Reserve yourself a cabin in one of our beautiful state parks and you will not regret it!
