Just please note that all square footage listed here is approximate. Actual measurements may vary between individual units, apartment buildings, and community phases.
Bedrooms
Ah, your bedroom. You will be getting a lot of quality sleep in there, so you need to make sure you find the perfect bed to fit the space!
Here’s a breakdown of each floor plan and its bedroom measurements, plus our bed size recommendations:
- Quartz – this studio apartment has a headboard-sized wall for your bed that is about 6 feet long. That’s perfect for a Full or Queen.
- Jade – Just like the Quartz, you can fit a Full- or Queen-sized bed in the main living space.
- Sapphire – The bedroom is 10x11, so we recommend a Queen.
- Amber – The bedroom is 10x12, so we recommend a Queen.
- Aquamarine – Just like the Amber, the 10x12 bedroom in an Aquamarine is perfectly suited for a Queen.
- Ruby – The bedroom is 12x12, which would fit a King.
- Onyx – The bedroom is 12x13, which would fit a King.
- Diamond – The master bedroom is 12x14, so spring for a King. The second bedroom is 12x12, so a Queen or King would work well.
- Citrine – The master bedroom is 11x14, which is fit for a King. The second bedroom is 11x13, so a Queen would be safer.
- Jasper – The master bedroom is 10x14 and the second bedroom is 12x13, so either could fit a Queen or King.
- Garnet – The master bedroom is 12x14, which is great for a King. The second bedroom is 12x13, so you could go with a Queen or a King.
- Opal – The master bedroom is 12x12, which could fit a King. But we recommend a Queen for the second and third bedrooms, which are 11x14 and 11x13, respectively.
Bonus Tip: Not using your spare bedroom as an actual bedroom? Here are some other cool ways you can decorate the room that could fit your needs.

Kitchens
Every apartment here at Bowman Pointe has an open floor plan, and an eat-in kitchen with granite countertops is the first thing you will see when you walk in the door.
The Quartz, Jade, and Sapphire floor plans have L-shaped bars at the end of the kitchen countertop, leaving room for one or two barstools. But the rest of our floor plans have big, beautiful kitchen islands!
For a Ruby, Onyx, Diamond, Citrine, Garnet, and Opal, you will have a 7-foot kitchen island that can fit 2 to 4 barstools. The Aquamarine floor plan has an 8-foot island, perfect for a set of 4 barstools.
However, in the Amber and Jasper, the kitchen island is 11 feet long, so you can have as little as 2 or as many as 6 barstools if you like!
Bonus Tip: Our countertops sit at 35 inches high, so make sure you buy counter height bar stools, which typically range from 24 to 27 inches.
Wine Bars
How many luxury apartments have you seen with a built-in dry bar? Yes, Bowman Pointe is quite unique!
This special space is a floor-to-ceiling feature with two custom cabinets, a wine rack, and a countertop bar for mixing drinks. You can find it just off the kitchen in the Ruby, Onyx, Diamond, Citrine, Jasper, Garnet, and Opal floor plans.
The counter itself is 2x3, giving you about a 19-inch clearance from the bottom of the wine rack above it. That offers plenty of space to decorate with some bar glasses or even set up some small appliances. Just plug them into the USB outlet provided!
Bonus Tip: If you don’t want to use your wine bar as a wine bar, there are different ways you can decorate the space. Have fun with it!
Dining Nooks
In addition to an eat-in kitchen, select floor plans will also feature a dining nook!
In a Ruby, Onyx, Diamond, or Garnet, this space is 7x11 and can fit a dining table with 4 to 6 chairs. In a Citrine or Opal, this space is 7x13 and can fit a dining table with up to 6 or 8 chairs.
The dining nooks in the Ruby and Diamond also have 3-foot feature wall that would be perfect for something like a sideboard, bar cart, or shelving unit.
Bonus Tip: If you don’t want to use your dining nook as a dining nook, there are different ways you can decorate the space. Have fun with it!
Pantries
Before you get to eat, all your groceries need a place to go, right? Plus, if you’re a fan of The Home Edit, we’re willing to bet you’re ready to buy all kinds of organizational bins, baskets, and cannisters to store it all.
That’s where a nice pantry comes into play!
In our Ruby, Diamond, and Garnet floor plans, the pantry is 2x5. In the Onyx and Citrine floor plans, the pantry is 2x6.
Closets
Walk-in closets are in every floor plan here at Bowman Pointe, giving you as much space as possible for clothes, shoes, and storage.
Here are the dimensions for the closets featured in each floor plan:
- Quartz – 4x6
- Jade – 4x6
- Sapphire – The front entry has a 2x2 closet you can use for coats, linens, or cleaning supplies. The bedroom closet is 6x6, not including the stacked washer/dryer unit.
- Amber – The front entry also has a 2x2 closet plus a 6x7 bedroom closet, not including the stacked washer/dryer unit.
- Aquamarine – The kitchen has a 2x3 closet, while the walk-in closet inside the bedroom is 6x8.
- Ruby – The walk-in closet off the bathroom is 5x8.
- Onyx – The walk-in closet off the bathroom is 4x9.
- Diamond – The master bathroom closet is 5x10 and the second bathroom closet is 5x8.
- Citrine – The master bathroom closet is 5x10 and the guest bathroom closet is 6x6.
- Jasper – The master bathroom closet is 5x9 and the guest bathroom closet is 6x7.
- Garnet – The master bathroom closet is 5x11 and the guest bathroom closet is 4x8.
- Opal – The master bathroom closet is 3x8, the second bedroom closet is 4x5, and third bedroom closet is 6x7. Instead of a full pantry, this floor plan also has a 2x4 front entry closet.
Laundry Rooms
The Quartz, Jade, Sapphire, and Amber all come with a stacked washer/dryer unit to help you optimize the space available in our smallest floor plans. But, the Aquamarine, Ruby, Onyx, Diamond, Citrine, Jasper, Garnet, and Opal all have laundry rooms!
In an Aquamarine, you get a 3x5 laundry room. In the Ruby, Diamond, and Citrine, you get a 3x8 laundry room. In the Jasper, Garnet, and Opal, it’s closer to 3x9. In the Onyx, the laundry room is 3x11.
All should fit full-sized washers and dryers. We even include some built-in shelves for you to store your laundry supplies!
Bonus Tip: If you don’t have your own washer and dryer, you can rent a set from us for just $50 a month!
Laundry Chutes
You may be surprised to learn that we not only have laundry rooms in select floor plans, but also laundry chutes!
Our laundry chutes are enclosed cabinets between two doors that connect a closet to a laundry room. In the Diamond, Citrine, and Garnet, you can find one in the master bathroom closet. In the Sapphire and Amber, you can find one in the bedroom closet.
They measure about 22 inches long, 17 inches deep, and 18 inches across. This should help you find the right hamper to fit inside, which will make passing laundry back and forth so easy!
Windows
Did you know our luxury apartments are also energy efficient? It’s true!
In fact, our double-paned picture windows are insulated by argon gas and glazed in a low-emissivity coating.
At their tallest, these windows are also about 8 feet (or 96 inches) off the floor, so we recommend you purchase window treatments that are at least that long!
Balconies
Is your outdoor living space just as important as your indoor living space? Good news! Most of our floor plans come with a private outdoor patio or balcony!
Here are the patio sizes you can expect to see in each option:
- The Quartz, Aquamarine, Onyx, and Garnet all have a small 4x7 balcony, exclusively available in Building 14.
- The Ruby’s patio/balcony is 7x11, including a 4x4 storage closet.
- The Diamond’s patio/balcony is 7x12, including a 4x4 storage closet.
- The Citrine’s patio/balcony is 7x10, including a 4x6 storage closet.
- The Jasper’s balcony is 7x13, including a 4x7 storage closet.
- The Opal has an extra-special, L-shaped patio or balcony. It’s about 10x13, including a 4x7 storage closet.
The Jade, Sapphire, and Amber floor plans do not have a patio or balcony.
It’s important to note here that we only permit outdoor furniture on your patio or balcony, which is detailed under the patio/balcony policy in your lease agreement. Make sure you read that over and purchase the right type of décor!
Whew! We hope all these measurements help you furnish your new luxury apartment here at Bowman Pointe and make it feel like home.
