Our App In-Depth: How to RSVP to Events

Socially distant experiences are the name of the game in today’s world, and we happily oblige to keep our community connected and thriving.

Are you keeping up with all our virtual resident events, food truck schedules, and happy hour happenings? If not, you need to get up to speed!

Our staff uses the handy features in the Bowman Pointe app to update our event calendar and send you event invitations. That’s why it’s so important to have the app and keep up with our community notifications!

Once you do, you will quickly find that the best way to stay on top of everything is to RSVP to the events you care about and add them to your calendar. You will never miss another fun night again!

We’ve already shown you how easy it is to reserve an amenity or submit a service request using our resident app, and now we want to help you start RSVPing like a pro. Let’s go!

STEP #1: DOWNLOAD OUR APP

To stay in the know on all the events coming up here at Bowman Pointe, you first need to download our resident app. If you already have it, skip to Step #2.

If you don’t already have it on your phone or tablet, just search for “Active Building” in the App Store or Google Play Store.

Once you download the app and enter your personal information, it will confirm your resident account here and allow you to open the app.

STEP #2: OPEN THE EVENTS TAB

You’re in! Awesome. Now, it’s time to open the events calendar.

On the home screen, you should see three lines in the upper left hand corner of your screen. Tap on that to open the menu, then scroll down until you see Events.

Tap there to proceed to the next step! 

STEP #3: EXPLORE UPCOMING EVENTS

Once you tap on the Events tab, a rolling all our upcoming events will be displayed at your fingertips.

For more information on any event, just tap on the title of that event and you can see the event details.

STEP #4: RSVP TO AN EVENT

Did you find an event you’re excited to attend? Go ahead and RSVP!

Tap on the Go button for the event of your choice. If guests are allowed, you can add them to your RSVP before you hit Submit.

Once you’re done signing up for an event, you can press the Done button, then see yourself marked as Going on the event. 

Please Note: For events with limited capacity, you will see a running count of available spots listed on the event details screen. Your RSVP is usually required to attend these events, so make sure you RSVP before all the spots are taken!
